What is VitalStim?
VitalStim® and VitalStim® Plus are the registered names of the genuine electrical stimulation devices used in the treatment of swallowing problems or dysphagia.
VitalStim® was developed and approved by the American Food & Drug Administration (FDA) in 2002. In 2014 the new and more advanced VitalStim® Plus was launched.
An electrical stimulation treatment using VitalStim® or VitalStim® Plus is called VitalStim® Therapy and is administered by a qualified therapist.
